PROJECT # 1
Maryland Salem Children’s Trust
6-8
volunteers needed
To paint interior walls of the shelter
Agency will supply all necessary tools & equipment
(Wear clothing suitable for painting)
PROJECT # 2
Agency on Aging – Grantsville Senior Center
3-4 volunteers needed
To weed 4 flower beds and mulch
Volunteers are asked to bring
rakes, tools for
weeding & mat for kneeling (if needed)
(Old clothes)
PROJECT # 3
Christian Crossing Thrift Shop
6 – 8 adults needed
To get boxes of clothing out of storage and hang/organize
& get holiday items ready for display
(Work clothes – if cool a sweater)

Dove Center Shelter

PROJECT # 5
Diakon Adult Day Services at Mountain Glade
4 volunteers needed
To wash outside windows
To remove old flowers from boxes and dump dirt
To weed in front of building
Agency will provide all necessary supplies
(Wear clothes that are okay to get dirty)

Oakland Volunteer Fire Department

To clean fire hall in preparation of Octoberfest
(Fire hall will provide cleaning supplies)
(Wear old clothing)
PROJECT # 7
Crellin School
FULL – GC SOCIAL SERVICES – 9 VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers will
be the staff & Students
Also need 5 additional volunteers to help with bread baking
Students and
teachers will cook vegetable soup and bake
bread. Volunteers will assist in the baking of the bread.
Soup & bread will be donated to Hospice.

Center

To clean and weed planter area in front of the Mary
Browning Senior Center.
(Small gardening tools & garbage bags)

Flowery Vale Health & fitness Center
5 volunteers
To clean windows, stability balls, yoga mats and equipment.
Clean basement out.
